FROM ECO-ANXIETY TO RESPONSE-ABILITY

I support teams in developing the necessary skills to navigate through turbulent times.

For whom?

This workshop is designed for individuals whose work involves exposure to high levels of upsetting information.

Why?

Regardless of our backgrounds, the impact of climate change affects us all. Studies indicate that prolonged exposure to worry and moral distress can detrimentally affect our mental well-being.

Overwhelm isn't limited to climate anxiety; it can also result in low mood, irritability, restlessness, numbness, avoidance, irrational behavior, and more. Fearful and unsettled individuals are less likely to make sound decisions.

How?

The positive news is that there are numerous strategies to shield ourselves from overwhelming feelings that can lead to burnout and unhealthy coping mechanisms. This workshop introduces tools aimed at enhancing psychological resilience, protective factors, and mechanisms for regulating both personal and collective nervous systems. These skills enable individuals and teams to operate within a "window of tolerance," where distress doesn't need to be suppressed or exacerbated.

Resilience doesn't entail ignoring reality; instead, it allows individuals to remain connected, focus on meaningful aspects of life, and confront challenging situations with emotional and psychological maturity, enabling them to serve causes greater than themselves.
